Prayer Warrior's Guide, originally
titled On Bended Knee, was developed with the conviction that easy access
to Scripture would assist believers in their personal prayer life.
The categories covered represent the most frequent prayer concerns voiced among
believers. The Scripture texts given are not intended to be
exhaustive, but directive. Every effort has been made to keep the
text cited within the greater context of the passage. In most
instances a few words of the text are to help draw the verse to mind for
those who have memorized it. The petitioner is encouraged to read
the entire passage, believing that "the Holy Spirit rides best in His
own chariot". No attempt has been made to interpret or comment
on the text, but headings have been inserted to provide direction and
suggest some answers.
Some will find Prayer
Warrior's Guide a
useful outline for small group study. Others will keep it as a handy
reference in the counseling situation. All will find it useful in
personal devotions, reminding the prayer warrior of the multitude of
things God desires us to pray for.
